Content, Info Architecture, User Research

The UrbanFaith brand features a news and commentary website, companion magazine, and social media pages. UrbanFaith aims to stimulate conversation and to provide an “urban” Christian perspective on the people, news, and ideas that are shaping our lives today. Shari and an executive editor launched in 2008 as a blog. It was redesigned in 2011 as a full website with the help of an Atlanta-based design firm. A few years later, a print companion was created. Then, in 2015, it was redesigned again by an in-house designer and a new editor to give it a fresh look, to improve the synergy with the magazine, and to streamline the updating process. It continues to grow and change with new interactive features and content. In her role as Chief Content Officer, Shari managed the content development and production teams for both the print magazine and website. blank
